How we started
A55 Garage Doors began as a one-van operation on the North Wales coast, fitting roller doors for neighbours and repeat customers who passed us on by word of mouth. That first van is long gone — the ethos isn't.
Over 30 years later, we're still family-run and still local. We've grown into home security as a whole — front doors, electric gates, CCTV and fire doors — because customers kept asking. But we've never grown out of doing it ourselves, on time, and to a standard we'd fit in our own homes.
Why we're different
We're not a franchise, we're not a call centre, and we don't subcontract. When you phone us, you get a local person. When we quote you, the price is fixed in writing. When we install, it's our own engineers — the ones we've trained ourselves — turning up in our own vans.
The A55 corridor is home
We know North Wales weather. Salt spray on Anglesey, driven rain over the Denbigh moors, the mist that sits on Colwyn Bay for weeks.
