What's covered
- All installed hardware — roller doors, motors, gate operators, door slabs, hinges, locks
- Labour costs on all warranty repairs — you never pay a call-out
- CCTV cameras, NVRs, cabling and power supplies we install
- Manufacturer defects on all supplied products
- Structural fixings and brackets we installed
- Programming and re-configuration if a fault is our doing
What isn't covered
- Accidental or deliberate damage (vehicle impact, forced entry, vandalism)
- Adjustments to accommodate later building work not carried out by us
- Consumables — remote batteries, bulbs, keys, backup batteries after year 2
- Damage from third-party modification, repair or 'improvements'
- Cosmetic wear from normal use (surface marks, minor fading)
- Storm, flood or force majeure events (covered by home insurance)
How to make a claim
One phone call. No forms, no portals, no shifting the blame.
Phone or WhatsApp us
Tell us what's happening. We'll troubleshoot on the phone first — a lot of issues take five minutes to fix remotely.
We book a visit
If it needs an engineer, we book a visit — usually within a week. You pay nothing for the call-out or the labour.
We fix or replace
Repaired on-site where possible, or replaced with the equivalent product if it can't be repaired. Written record kept either way.
The important detail
Transferable: The warranty stays with the property, not the person. If you sell your home, the new owner keeps the remainder of the 5 years — just pass on the paperwork.
Manufacturer cover on top: Some products (CCTV recorders, Somfy motors, Ultion cylinders) carry additional manufacturer warranties beyond ours — up to 10 years in some cases. We handle those claims for you.
Annual check-ups: Optional. We offer a low-cost annual service on garage doors and gates that extends motor life significantly. Not required to keep the warranty valid.
Your rights: This warranty is in addition to your statutory consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — nothing in it removes or reduces them.
